A small Lines Bros 'Sportiboy' horse from between approx 1920 - 1927 - it has the 'Triangtois' round metal badge on the stand.
The horse has been well used and over-painted in the past. The original paint can be seen but I expect it will be too worn to be of much
use now. There are the usual cracks along some joints, nicks and rubs. The gesso has worn off the legs in places.
Both eyes have a crack and they could be replaced.
The horse is structurally fine; as far as I can see the legs are firmly fixed and the stand just needs a little glue on the top of
one of the pillars as there is a little movement here. There are a few old woodworm exit holes - it has been treated as a precaution.
The horse has been kept inside a dry house for many years.
The horse can be used as it is - it is stable and strong enough for children up to about 35 kilos.
But it should be a straightforward restoration for anyone wanting a project.
